Houseplants are cool but take a lot of care. If you are a working individual, coming home to a wilted plant is not to a rare sight. But there must be plants that perform otherwise. Here’s a list of the five topmost house plants that require the least attention. 1. Chinese Evergreen
Don’t go by the name, this plant is better than that. The most easily available variety of houseplant, tough yet beautiful. The plant can tolerate low light and does equally well in bright light as well. Moreover, if you are not much of an outdoors person and work under fluorescent lighting this is the one for you. You don’t even have to worry about watering it regularly, you can water it regularly, or you can water it every few weeks.
2. Ponytail Palm
This sassy bush of a tough yet cute plant is extremely easy to grow and can be put in any corner of the house. Although the plant does its best with bright light but will do just fine in medium- and low-light spots. These plants don’t require much watering ad can go many days without water as these store water in those groovy trunks. As a matter of fact, these grow better without regular watering.

3. Sago Palm
This plant dates back to prehistoric times. If it has survived thousands of years relatively unchanged, it should be a good candidate for your living room as well. Sago palms do best in bright light, they can handle medium light as well. Sago is a drought-tolerant houseplant. In fact, overwatering is usually what kills them.
4. Snake Plant
This popular plant is adaptable to a wide range of growing conditions, no wonder it might get invasive at some places even. These can live just fine in any room, tolerate low light; grows fastest in bright conditions. These require regular watering but in very little amounts.
5. Aloe
Aloe vera is found almost everywhere and there’s a reason for that. A form of cactus, which requires the least watering often comes in lush green colors and all different shapes and sizes. Apart from its health benefits, it’s a rather aesthetic plant.
