Five individuals passed on and four were harmed after an avalanche activated by streak surges, hit the Amarnath yatra explorers close Brarimarg in Jammu and Kashmir today. Brarimarg falls on the Baltal course of the Amarnath yatra.

Rescue groups are at the spot and the harmed are being moved to doctor's facility. One of them is said to be basic.
Prior in the day, three travelers - including two from Andhra Pradesh - kicked the bucket on the way to the Amarnath altar. The aggregate number of passing’s in the current year's yatra presently remains at 11.
In the midst of tight security, almost 3,500 travelers left for the Amarnath yatra from Jammu as a feature of the 6th clump today.
Up until this point, 36,366 travelers have gone to the 3,888-meter-high give in holy place in south Kashmir Himalayas by taking the 36-km Pahalgam track in Anantnag locale and 12-km Baltal course in Ganderbal since the beginning of the yearly 60-day journey on June 28.
Regardless of overwhelming downpours and danger of glimmer surges, the yatra to the place of worship started according to planned on June 28 following a few long stretches of postponement.
