3 Day Delhi Mango Festival to Kick start on FridayIf you are a mango lover and have been fantasizing about visiting a magical land full of the kings of fruits, you might be surprised to hear that on Friday you will be able to visit one such place. The 27th Mango Festival will kick start in Delhi on July 3. The three days long festival will last till July 5 and will showcase an array of the fruit variety.

The festival will take place at Dilli Haat in Janakpuri and Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal will be inaugurating the event. Delhi law minister Kapil Mishra and the deputy Chief Minister will also be present at the occasion. No significant weather activity is expected in the national capital till July 5, thus rain will not play a spoilsport for the event.

The Mango Festival which is organized by the Delhi Tourism Department is held every year and aims at providing the domestic food industries a platform to showcase their products. Also, the domestic mango industry gets an exposure due to such events.

The participants of the 27th edition of the festival includes thirteen farmers as well as nine government institutions that include Directorate of Horticulture and Food Processing, Rajya Krishi Utpadan Mandi Parishad, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, and others.

Not only will there be a variety of mangoes but activities including mango quizzes and mango-eating competition will also keep the visitors entertained. Visitors can also buy mangoes as well products based on the king of fruits at the event.
