Monsoon Season (July-October): Monsoon begins in July with moderate to heavy showers and goes on till October. During this time, the maximums touch 15°C while minimums are recorded around 10°C. If you plan to visit Auli during this time, make sure to carry light woolen clothes and rain coats.
Winter Season (November-February): Auli gets very chilly during winter with heavy snowfall. During this time, the maximums are around six degrees while minimums touch sub-zero levels. During this time, heavy woolens and warm clothes are required.

If you plan to reach Auli by air, then Jolly Grant airport is the nearest one to this place. It is then easily accessible via cabs. Rishikesh which is 262 km away from Auli is the nearest railway station to reach the destination. The distance thereafter can be covered by a cab.
Auli is well connected to all other major destinations of Uttarakhand by road. One can find state-run buses from Haridwar/Rishikesh that operate till Joshimath, from where, one can either drive in a cab or take a ropeway to Auli. Taxis from Haridwar and Dehradun are also available and will eventually direct to Auli.
