The hills of North India are all set to see a fresh Western Disturbance on December 22. The effect of this will remain throughout the weekend, i.e. until the 24th. However, the last day will see some residual effect only and the activity will be lesser as compared to the other two days.
Nevertheless, this system is expected to be a mild one which will be affecting the mid as well as the higher reaches of the regions of Jammu and Kashmir as well as Himachal Pradesh. Some parts of Uttarakhand will also be affected on December 23.
This system will induce a Circulation over the plains, due to which Punjab and Rajasthan may see some rainfall activity. Northern Plains may see a rise in the temperatures by 2-3 degrees during the time of the system's presence. Drop is expected after December 24.
