The weather system over the country:
The line of withdrawal of southwest monsoon continues to pass through latitude 30.8 degrees north, longitude 81.2 degrees east, Lakhimpur Kheri, Shivpuri, Kota, Udaipur, Deesa, Surendranagar, Junagarh, latitude 21 degrees north, and latitude 70 degrees east.
Conditions are favourable for further withdrawal of Southwest monsoon from remaining parts of West Uttar Pradesh, some more parts of Madhya Pradesh, remaining parts of East Rajasthan, some more parts of Gujarat, and some parts of Maharashtra, during the next 2 to 3 days.
A cyclonic circulation is over southeast Bangladesh extending up to 5.8 km above the mean sea level. The trough from the cyclonic circulation is extending from northeast Bihar to the North Andaman Sea across above cyclonic circulation. Under its influence a low-pressure area is likely to form over North Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas in next 24 hours.
A cyclonic circulation is over Lakshadweep area.

During the last 24 hours, moderate to heavy rain occurred over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam, Bangladesh, and Arunachal Pradesh.
Light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells occurred over Rayalaseema.
Light to moderate rain occurred over Northeast India, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, coastal Andhra Pradesh, north Tamil Nadu, Odisha, and east Bihar.
Light rain occurred over Bihar, Jharkhand, Konkan and Goa, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Marathwada.
Isolated light to very light rain occurred over Jharkhand and south Madhya Pradesh.

During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with a few heavy spells may occur over Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Bangladesh, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Light to moderate rain is possible over Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, Karnataka, and parts of Telangana.
