Weather in Indian airports is set to change over the next 24 hours as foggy conditions have begun developing over airports of north and east India. Slow winds added with increased humidity and low temperatures are creating these conditions. The visibility level in some of the airports may drop significantly during the next 24 hours. Here is a fog update for the airports in India:
Dense to very dense fog in Indian airports
Chaudhary Charan Singh International airport, Lucknow
Lucknow airport may face delays and disruptions in flight operations, as thick fog cover will grip Lucknow leading to significant drop in visibility.
Lok Nayak Jaiprakash Narayan airport, Patna
The operations at airport would also be affected by dense to very dense fog especially during the morning hours till afternoon. Visibility level would drop considerably during this period.
Moderate fog in Indian airports
Netaji Subash Chandra Bose airport, Kolkata
The Netajee Subash Chandra Bose International airport would again witness moderate fog turning a bit dense during morning hours. Flight operations may get affected owing to latest development.
Lal Bahadur Shashtri Airport, Varanasi
Air travelers visiting Varanasi could also face delays in flights as the airport would be under moderate fog cover.
Bangaluru International airport, Bangalore
Fog conditions would prevail for a short duration between 5:30 to 6:30am.
Shallow Fog, fog in Indian airport
Sri Guru Ram Dass jee International airport, Amritsar
Shallow fog conditions are expected to prevail but that would not affect flight operations.
Indira Gandhi International airport New Delhi
No fog in Delhi airport is expected during the next 24 hour. However. Conditions are increasingly turning favourable for the formation of fog over the city. Visibility is good and would not affect flight operations in the capital.
