Indian airports in northern and eastern India are under the grip of dense to very dense fog at the moment. These conditions may prevail for another 48 hours. Flight and trains operations would remain affected as visibility level at most of the Indian airports are between 50m to 200m. Here is a weather update for Indian airports for the next 24 hours over north and east India.

Indira Gandhi International airport New Delhi
Dense to very dense fog will affect operations from airport in Delhi. Conditions are likely to prevail in the next two days. Visibility is very poor during early morning hours to 8am.

Sri Guru Ram Dass jee International airport, Amritsar
Very dense fog is expected to continue that would keep operations delayed.

Chaudhary Charan Singh International airport, Lucknow
Flight operations from the airport have been affected. Dense to very dense fog would keep the airport under peril between 3am to 8am during the next 24.

Lok Nayak Jaiprakash Narayan airport, Patna
The operations at airport would also be affected by dense to very dense fog especially during the morning hours until 9am. Visibility level would drop considerably during this period.

Netaji Subash Chandra Bose airport, Kolkata
The Netajee Subash Chandra Bose International airport would continue to witness dense fog, very dense during morning hours in the next 24 hours. Flight operations be disrupted.

Lal Bahadur Shashtri Airport, Varanasi
Air travelers visiting Varanasi would continue to face delays in flights as airport would be under dense fog cover.

Bangaluru International airport, Bangalore
Fog is not expected to disrupt flight operations at Bangalore International airport.
