Parts of eastern Central India recorded scattered rain activities between February 10 and 15 and since then whether has gone dry. While recent days have seen a dry spell across the eastern and central regions of India, the respite will be short-lived. Light, scattered rain is expected to commence over Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha within the next 24 hours, with isolated showers possible over Vidarbha and South Chhattisgarh as well.

The intensity will pick up on February 26th and 27th, particularly over Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and the southern districts of Madhya Pradesh. These areas may experience hailstorms accompanied by strong winds. Be vigilant, especially in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.

Central Madhya Pradesh will see the most significant rainfall activity. Places like Sagar, Damoh, Umaria, Jabalpur, Katni, and Mandla can expect moderate to heavy showers, while Panna, Singrauli, Rewa, Satna, and Sidhi are likely to receive light to moderate rain.

Eastern India, while not experiencing heavy rainfall, may see light showers with one or two moderate spells in Jharkhand and the interior parts of Odisha between February 25th and 27th.

From February 28th onwards, the rain will significantly subside, leading to clear skies and a subsequent rise in temperatures. Stay informed about the latest weather updates and exercise caution during the predicted rainfall and hailstorms.
