Most parts of the country will continue to witness rains of varied intensity in the coming week.
Let us take a look at the weather forecast for the week:
Light to moderate rains is likely to continue over the hilly states of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand until July 25. The intensity is likely to reduce thereafter due to passage of Western Disturbance. However, light rains will continue. Thereafter, rains will once again increase around July 28-30
The northern plains such as Delhi, Haryana, and Punjab, North Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh will receive isolated light rains till July 26. Rainfall activity will once again start increaseing July 27 onward. Thus, between July 28 and 30, light to moderate showers will persist over these regions.
West Madhya Pradesh and North Chhattisgarh will receive moderate to heavy rains till July 25. Remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha will witness light rains. July 27 onward, rain intensity will reduce. Around July 29 and 30, scattered rains will commence over North Madhya Pradesh and North Chhattisgarh with isolated showers over rest of Central India.
South Rajasthan and Gujarat will witness heavy to extremely heavy rains till July 26. Thereafter, light rains will be observed over these areas.
