Match Preview:
For most of Indians the WorldT20 ended on March 31 when a confident West Indians ousted a strong Indian side in the semifinals. But the final match is yet to be played and the winner of this year’s World T20 is yet to be decided.
The West Indies side has the upper hand in the finals as they are more familiar with the moist Indian conditions. Also their stint in the Indian Premier League has made their road to World Cup easy. Not just the external factors, West Indies as a team is confident enough to go home for the second time.
On the other hand, England has played the tournament very cheekily. Other than the giant run chase in the game against South Africa, they have maintained a low profile.
Post the semifinal loss against West Indies the Indians and the Indian social media reacted very coolly. This has to be the first time when the people are taking it less passionately and more logically.
Probably the winds of change are already in the air for India cricket scenario where we gracefully accept our defeat.
This WorldT20 final will also act as a motivation platform for the people of Kolkata to overcome the recent Vivekananda Setu disaster and bring in the people together.
