Weather outlook for cricket world cup quarter-finals

The cricket world cup is now moving to its business end i.e. the knockout stages. There are now eight teams left namely Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Pakistan, India, West Indies and a surprise entrant Bangladesh. In Australia three out of the four matches will be played and one in New Zealand. The venues of the quarterfinals are: Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Wellington. All four pitches will be good for batting. It is to be noted that India and New Zealand are the only unbeaten teams till now. England was a shocker as it made a rather early exit from the tournament. As of now it is difficult to say who are the contenders for the cup, so let’s sit back and enjoy the knockout stages of the cup.
