Rain may play spoilsport at India Australia clash in Mohali

Rain may play spoilsport at India Australia match in MohaliRain in Kolkata before the India-Pakistan match had almost given fans a heart attack.

However, rain gods decided to spare us and gave Indians what they needed- a fabulous game, a splendid innings by Kohli and a praiseworthy win. Indians couldn’t have asked for anything more than that.

Now, after clashing with Bangladesh in Bengaluru on March 23, India is all set to lock horns with the mighty Australians in their last group stage match on March 27 in Mohali.

While the contest is likely to be an exciting affair, rains may play spoilsport at the match.

After a dry spell of almost a week, rainfall activity is likely to begin in parts of Punjab around March 26. These rains will be attributed to a fresh Western Disturbance which will start affecting the hills and plains of North India around March 24 and an induced cyclonic circulation is likely to form over North Pakistan and adjoining Haryana and Punjab during the same period.

The intensity of rain will not be heavy in nature. In fact, rains will be light, however, the possibility of one or two short spells of rain cannot be ruled out.

Skymet will keep you updated on the rainfall status in Mohali during the India-Australia World T20 clash.
