Weather Preview: After the passage of Cyclone Roanu, the temperatures rose across Telangana and few parts of Karnataka. But given the perfect location of Bangalore, the silicon city of India is not getting affected by the raised temperatures. But on Tuesday night, there may be chances of some light rain in Bangalore.

The temperatures will remain close to 28 °C at the start of the game but as the match progresses the temperatures will drop down to 26 °C. With the drop in temperature there will be a rise in humidity levels that will incite the chances of light rain. Hot westerly winds will aid the chances of rain. Thus, chances of short spell of light rains cannot be ruled out.

Match Preview: After having a troubled start to the tournament – the Virat Kohli fueled Royal Challengers Bangalore are pulsating with pure power when they marched into the playoffs. In complete contrast Gujarat Lions have been in the top four of the table throughout this IPL. Suresh Raina has proved to be a perfect leader for a team that rose from the ashes of Chennai Super Kings.

In their previous two meetings the teams had – both have shared a peg each, but in both the games, Royal Challengers Bangalore was a far better performer and proved their mettle.

In its last four matches won – RCB won by huge margins. Their victory margins read 6 wickets, 82 runs, 9 wickets and 144 runs. This is something that Gujarat Lions team would keep in mind and would strategize their game accordingly.

Now picture this – on one side, players like Suresh Raina, Dwayne Smith, Brendon Mccullum and Aaron Finch playing for Gujarat Lions and on the other side Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Shane Watson playing for RCB. All the names here are the giants of the current T20 Cricket era and all are pitched against each other in a must win encounter that will throttle the team in the finals of IPL 2016.

Virat Kohli is one guy everybody should be varying of. He currently sits on 919 runs in this season of IPL only and will be destructive in order to complete 1000 runs. If he does that he will be the first player to do so. Even in bowling department RCB has edged out every other team – Yuzvendra Chahal has 19 wickets to his name and would love to reach the magical number of 25 wickets in an IPL season.
