The Indian Premier League is in full swing and after completing the fourth game yesterday, Chennai Super Kings sit right at the top of the table after registering a convincing win against the Delhi Capitals at the Firoz Shah Kotla Stadium.
Today, Kolkata Knight Riders will play their first home ground match against the Kings XI Punjab. The interesting point here is that both these teams have won a match each and are in high spirits to register another win in their bags.
The match is scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM tonight at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Talking about the weather conditions in Kolkata tonight, weather is likely to remain dry with temperatures remaining around 25 degrees at about 9 PM and reducing by a couple of notches thereafter.
It is going to be even more interesting as the Knight Riders have an excellent record as far as games in the home ground are concerned. Chris Gayle will be an interesting player from the Kings XI to watch out as he did display an exemplary performance in their last game against the Royals.
However, Kings XI Punjab’s integrity came into question after R Ashwin’s mandaking of Jos Butler. Robin Uthappa and Andre Russell are another set of players who should be watched out at this game as they were key contributors in the last one.
