The Indian Premier League has been a boon for a couple of teams this year, the biggest gainer being the Chennai Super Kings. Today, the Kolkata Knight Riders is all set to play against the Delhi Capitals tonight at 8 PM at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Weather wise, Kolkata may see thunderstorm activity during the later afternoon hours. However, it will not affect the game as these weather activities will take a backseat during that time. Sky will remain partly cloudy. Temperatures will settle between 28 and 29 degrees Celsius. Due to the humidity factor being on the higher side, there may be some discomfort to the players.

Talking about the teams, KKR still stands on the second spot right after CSK with four wins out of the six games played, looks like a good spot at present for the team. On the other hand, with just one more loss as compared to KKR, they stand on the sixth spot. If they seem to win this one, that too with a good run rate, they may jump up to the second spot.
Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals have already faced each other once which had been converted into a super over and it was Kagiso Rabada who bowled the Knight Riders to a loss.
KKR still has Andre Russell in their dug out who has turned out to be a match winner for Kolkata meanwhile, Delhi Capitals have Rabada in their pockets, who also the leading wicket taker with 11 in his hands. KKR have this opportunity to take revenge with the DC by winning this game.
Talking about last night’s game, the Rajasthan Royals played against the Chennai Super Kings in their home ground and ended up winning this one after a lot of drama on and off field. So much so that MS Dhoni came to the field from the dug out when the Umpire turned his decision of a no ball for which he has been fined 50 percent of his match fee. CSK have been roaring at the top with just one loss out of the seven games played by them. They do seem invincible at the time. However, how long will they remain the King of the Jungle, only time will tell.
