The Indian Premier League is all set to reach the playoff stage in just about a few days. The game has been keeping the cricket fans entertained. In fact, the last few overs of some of these matches keep the viewers at the edge of their seats.

There have been a few disappointments in the form of teams who were top performers in the last few years at the IPL. One of these teams happens to be the Royal Challengers Bangalore who in no way can make it to the playoffs. They have only been able to win just about two games out of 12.

Meanwhile, it has been the Rising Pune Supergiants who have been a surprise package for all. While initially the teams kept losing matches, the winning streak took over and Steve Smith and Company has been winning quite a few games since then.

Today, the first game will be played between the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Rising Pune Supergiants at 4:00 PM at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad at around 4:00 PM. While the fans are excited amidst hot and humid Hyderabad, rain gods have something different in store.

During the late evening hours, a spell or two of thunderstorm and thundershowers may affect the game for a little duration. However, the entire game will not be affected as the thunderclouds will not persist for a long time.
