The Indian Premier League has given us the entertainment that all the cricket fanatics were waiting for. While some teams have been a disappointment for the last few days, the Kolkata Knight Riders have been the surprise package in a clever way, making its way to the top, dethroning the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Today, the first game which is scheduled to be played at 4:00 pm today in Bengaluru is between the Royal Challengers Bangalore and the mighty Mumbai Indians. While Mumbai Indians have won 2 out of three matches played by them, the Royal Challengers have faced a loss in two out of the three played by them.
This year has been a tough one for the Royals. One of the reasons could be the absence of the star played and captain Virat Kohli. While AB De Villiers has been putting up a stellar show, the team on the whole has not been able to perform as well as they were expected to.
However, now as per reports, the RCB skipper is fit to play and is expected to lead the team today. Hopefully, some power packed action will be seen from his bedazzling bat during the evening.
Weather wise, the city of Bengaluru will remain hot during the initial phase of the game. While the temperatures will witness a drop thereafter, weather conditions will remain warm throughout. Humidity will remain on the lower side, and a slight bit of cloud cover can be seen over the region.
