Published on May 07, 2017: The Indian Premier League has been an entertaining affair all throughout. Right from the Kings XI Punjab to the Rising Pune Supergiants, teams have been rising from the ashes displaying a spectacular performance.

Then there are teams like the Mumbai Indians and the Kolkata Knight Riders who barring a few occasions, have been on the winning streak. In fact, both these teams are now sure to make it to the playoffs pretty easily.

However, there are a few teams who have been a major disappointment this time. The Royal Challengers Bangalore in particular have been failing miserably. The losing streak continues and none of the batsmen in the RCB have been able to perform even remotely well. In fact, they have now no possibility of making it to the playoffs come what may.

Today, since it is a weekend, two games will be played at 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm, respectively. In the first, the Royal Challengers Bangalore will play against the mighty Kolkata Knight Riders. The game is scheduled to be played at 4:00 pm and the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru will host this game.

While the RCB will try to at least put something on the plate and try to win this game, rain gods may disrupt the upcoming match. Weather systems are currently in close proximity of Bengaluru due to which Pre-Monsoon activity is in full swing. Thus, during the late afternoon and evening hours, thunderstorm and rain may affect the match between the two teams.
