IPL 2017, Punjab vs KKR: Rain, thunderstorm in Mohali may affect nail biting game

The Indian Premier League is all set to reach the playoff stage in just about a few days. The game has been keeping the cricket fans entertained. In fact, the last few overs of some of these matches keep the viewers at the edge of their seats.

Today Kings XI Punjab will be taking over Kolkata Knight Riders in their home ground Mohali at 8:00 pm. It’s a do and die situation for Punjab as at present Punjab is at the fifth position.

While the fans are excited but unfortunately a spell of thundershower with gusty winds may hinder the match. Weather models are indicating that the city may witness a spell of thundershowers during the late evening hours on account of induced cyclonic circulation over North Rajasthan and adjoining Punjab.

Weather has already become cloudy, with possibility of thunder clouds to develop towards late evening over the area.

To get in the playoffs they will have to win todays match. Whereas Kolkata knight riders stand at the second position, but to maintain their position in the playoffs Kolkata will also have to win the match.

It’s an adventurous day for the IPL fans. Curiosity is built towards the strategies of captains. The chasing team has always been beneficial while playing at the Mohali ground, hence a lot depends on the match.
