The Indian Premier League is becoming interesting day by day. While for some it is an entirely different story this year with wins after wins, some of the teams have only been seeing downfall this time.  The Royal Challengers for instance has been one of the most favoured IPL teams, one of the main reasons being the presence of the Indian Skipper Virat Kohli.

However, the RCB players have failed to create the magic they could have. In fact, yester night’s loss from KKR was a complete let down. While the bowlers did a great job restricting the KKR to a mere 132, it was the batsmen who couldn’t do a thing. Sadly, not even one batsman could score runs in double digits.

On the other hand, the Rising Pune Supergiant have had a great weekend. In the game against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Steve Smith and company played a spectacular innings. In fact, it was a treat to the eyes of MSD fans. MS Dhoni scored amazingly well pushing the RPS to a win and to the top 5 of the table after long.

Today, the top of the table Mumbai Indians will play against the Rising Pune Supergiant at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai at 8:00 PM. Weather wise, Mumbai will remain hot with temperatures ranging in the early 30s even during the night hours.

It will be interesting to see whether Smith and company will be able to defeat the mighty Mumbai Indians led by Rohit Sharma.
