The Indian Premier League is all set to complete the first half of its season ten. The tenth edition of the most awaited cricket league across the globe has been an interesting one as far as the game is concerned. While there have been players who have not been in their best form, there are others who are doing too well even at the stage of being a newbie.
Currently, in the league stage, it is the Kolkata Knight Riders who are on top of their game. After beating the Rising Pune Supergiant, a day before, the Knight Riders have shot up and taken the top spot dethroning the Mumbai Indians.
As far as the bottom spot is concerned, the Royal Challengers Bangalore seem to have taken it and it doesn’t look like they are leaving too soon after all. After losing to Gujarat Lions in a completely one sided match, their chances of being able to reach the top four look a little too bleak.
Today, the Kolkata Knight Riders will take on the Delhi Daredevils who are also in a sorry state. The match is scheduled to take place at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata and will begin at 4:00 PM (IST).
While both the teams will be in full swing trying to keep the game on their side, the weather gods may not be in their favour completely. In fact, the possibility of a spell or two of rain and thunderstorm activity during the late afternoon hours may cause some hindrance to either the game or the toss. However, the rains will not affect the game completely and only some delay is likely.
