The Indian Cricket Team has been playing against Sri Lanka in a test, ODI and T20 series during the end of the year. It has been after a long time that the Lankans have visited India for a series where they are playing all the formats on the Indian ground.

As far as the test matches are concerned, the Lankans were throttled by the men in blue as India won the three test match series. However, things have not been as great for the Indian Cricket Team as far as the ODIs are concerned.

Virat Kohli has been rested for the rest of the series, the reasons for which were known just yesterday. The Indian skipper got married to Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma in a hush hush affair in Italy. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma has been handed the baton of the captaincy.

However, things have not been as great since the last game turned out to be disastrous with the Indian batting line up crumbling faster an ice cream melts during the summers. It was the ex-captain cool, MS Dhoni who tried way too hard to ensure that India at least is able to cross the 100 run mark in the last game. Nevertheless, India lost the last game.

The second test is to be played in Mohali on December 13 at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium. The game will begin at 11:30 AM. This time, the Indian side is all set to get back in the game and win by a huge margin. Weather wise, after the previous episode of rains over the hills and the plains of North India, weather will remain way more chilly than expected.

Sky conditions will remain partly cloudy. The remnants of the Western Disturbance may cause some thunderclouds in the foothills of Himalayas including Mohali but this will only happen during the night time, thus rains are not likely during the game.

However, as far as the weather during the day and night is concerned, the players will feel the winter chill to quite an extent. Not only this, the conditions will remain windy which will only increase the wintry feel over the city.
