The Men in Blue have been touring South Africa in a test, ODI and T20 series for the past one month. However, it is not just Kohli and company who have been touring the South African nation, but the Women in Blue are also on a three ODI series visit.

Unfortunately, Mithali Raj and company couldn’t get enough coverage. In fact, Twiteratti was in a rage after any sports channel failed to cover the matches being played by the women. Nevertheless, in the first ODI played on February 5, it was the Indian women who had their held high throughout the game.

Meanwhile, when it came to defend the score, Jhulan Goswami was magical with her bowling attack and managed to take 4 wickets while maintaining an economy of 2.57. On the other hand, Shikha Pandey was an active participant after taking three wickets. Thus, the South African side collapsed at a mere 125 runs.

The second ODI is to be played today at 1:30 PM (IST) at Kimberley. Here, the Indian side will look to take a lead of 2-0 and be able to secure a series win in the second game itself.

However, weather gods may not completely be in favour of the match as light rains are expected which may cause minor disruption. However, major interruption is likely. Temperatures will be between 25 and 26 degrees Celsius with the weather remaining on the comfortable side.
