IND v NZ: Dry and hot Pune to host second ODI

After Australia’s tour, their friendly neighbours have been visiting India. New Zealand, the Kiwis as we know them are on an India tour where they are playing three ODIs and three T20s. The first ODI has been already played in Mumbai and it has been no good news for the Men in Blue at all.

While the Australians were an easy catch and India defeated the, easily, New Zealand do not choke that easily. In the first ODI, they were quick enough to show as to who happens to be the boss as far as the ODIs are concerned. Currently, New Zealand tops the ODI ranking list and the last game just proved it.

The Indian Skipper, Virat Kohli left no stone unturned in trying to ensure a win for the Indian side by scoring a ton. However, others in the Indian batting side could not even near the 50-run mark. The bowlers also did not perform that well and India ended up losing up the match, thereby, the efforts of Virat Kohli going in vain.
