It is the season of excitement and fun for all Cricket fans out there! Australia’s one-month tour of India has finally begun and both the Men in Blue as well as the Aussies have already played an ODI. This time it was Kohli and company that ended up winning at a massive rate and are hoping to continue the winning streak.

Rains in Chennai did cause a Duckworth Lewis Method to come into play. However, even the weather Gods were on India’s side helping them to take a lead against the Kangaroos. Aussies on the other hand may have had much to learn from the massive defeat.

Now, the second ODI will be played in the city of Kolkata on September 21 at the iconic Eden Gardens. The game is scheduled to be a day-night affair and will begin at 1:30 PM. Cricket fanatics will pray to the rain gods that they do not make an appearance over the city.

However, there is a possibility of light rainfall activity over the City of Joy in Kolkata on September 21. These rains are not expected to be as intense as Chennai rains were thus there may be some hindrance for a short duration but the possibility of major disruption is highly unlikely.

Thus, rain gods will fail to kill the spirit of the fans and cricket lovers will be able to see a full match. Let us hope that the magical carnival of Dhoni and Pandya continue with the add on of splendid performances by Kohli, Rohit Sharma and others.
