Clean weather and clean sweep in Dhoni’s Den

November 15, 2014 5:38 PM |

After the hammering that the Srilankans received at the hands of Rohit Sharma, it won’t be surprising if Srilankans are praying for a wash out at Ranchi during the 5th ODI Match on November 16.

However, that won’t happen as the weather forecast suggests a bright and sunny day with very comfortable maximum of 28°C and minimum of 13°C. It won’t be sultry either, as humidity will be around 30% during the day, increasing to 70% at night. Hence, some dew can be expected in the second innings.

Indians have shown that whether dew or not, it will take something special to stop them from making a clean sweep of 5-0 and in the process regaining No.1 spot in ODI ranking.

Whatever India has tried, it has worked, be it Rayadu or be it Rohit Sharma.  On the other hand, except for few senior players like Mathews, Jayawardene and Sangakkara, the Srilankan youngsters have failed to make an impression.
