United States soybeans jumped 1 percent, rising for three out of the past four sessions, in hope of strong demand following a steep decline in prices. The main driver for soybeans is demand fromChinaas it has been very actively taking US soybeans. US soybean prices are being supported by expectations of strong demand.
According to the Cashew Export Promotion Council of India, cashew exports from India declined compared with the last year. During May, shipments were 8397 tonnes valued at Rs 365.17 crore at an unit value of Rs 434.86 per kg against 9720 tonnes valued at Rs 386.29 crore at an unit value of Rs 397.42 last year.
According to Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA), sugarcane acreage in India has estimated to be around 5.23 million hectares during the 2014-2015 sugar season, down by 2 per cent, as compared to the same period last year. In current season sugarcane planting in India were 46.42 lakh hectares as on July 25, 2014.
Indian guar seed futures ended higher as lower rainfall in leading cultivating states raised concerns about showing bullish trend in guar seed prices will continue. Rajasthan is the major guar seed producing state. India is the largest producer of the guar seed and accounts for about 80 per cent of the total global guar seed production.
Monsoon remains weak, escalating the national rain deficit in the gone by week. Weather during the coming week will be controlled by two systems one developing over West Bengal, Odisha and adjoining Bay of Bengal, another as a cyclonic circulation over Gujarat and Rajasthan region.

Weather in Central India
The two above mentioned systems will influence weather over their respective regions of formation and also across Central India including Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The pockets of heavy rain will be Gujarat and Rajasthan. The parched area of Saurashtra and Kutch will also receive some rain over the week.
North and Northwest India
Delhi remains one of the poorest pockets in terms of rain this Monsoon season and the coming week will be no better. The first half will see good rain over the hilly states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand while along the foothills of Punjab and Haryana, scattered showers are likely. Monsoon will remain least active over west Rajasthan.
East and Northeast
Monsoon will remain less active over Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand for the coming week. But in view of the system over Bay of Bengal and Odisha, good showers are likely over West Bengal, Odisha and adjoining areas.
Northeast India will continue to receive scattered rain activity for the rest of the month. Temperatures will remain in comfortable levels.
South India
Good showers likely to continue along the west coast for the entire week. But rest of South India will have very light rain, if at all, for the week. Temperatures along the west coast will remain between 28⁰C to 32⁰C. Tamil Nadu will remain less active in terms of rain.
