Madhya-Pradesh-1 website

Delhi pleasant weather_The Lalit dot com 600

IPL 2019: Hot Kolkata to host KKR v CSK show

KKR vs CSK

The Indian Premier League was an exciting one for the Royal Challengers Bangalore for the first time this season as they did end up winning their first game at last. In fact, it was a delight for the last second in the points table, Rajasthan Royals as well, as they too got to see victory after so many losses.

Today, two games will be played as it’s Sunday. The first game is scheduled between the Kolkata Knight Riders and the Chennai Super Kings at 4:00 PM, at Eden Gardens Kolkata.

Weather wise, rains in Kolkata will remain away and weather will remain dry. Temperatures will settle between 29 and 35 degrees. The weather will not only be hot but since humidity will be on the higher side, players will have to face extreme discomfort.

The last time these teams met at Chennai, KKR lost by a good number and Chennai literally throttled them. However, KKR may have a chance today as they will be playing on their home ground. While KKR have Andre Russell, the top order of the CSK have also been performing quite well.

The bowling side of the CSK is as strong as ever, and it will be interesting to see whether, the top of the points table Chennai will continue its winning streak or Kolkata Knight Riders will be able to break this spell.

Madhya Pradesh to witness Pre-Monsoon rains from today, intensity to increase on April 16

Madhya pradesh weather

Although Madhya Pradesh has been receiving on and off isolated rains since the beginning of Pre-Monsoon season, the state has not witnessed good spell of rain and thundershower activities till now.

Now, in the wake of the trough extending from western parts of Madhya Pradesh to Karnataka. We expect isolated rains to occur over parts of Madhya Pradesh today. From tomorrow the intensity of these weather activities will start increasing over many parts of the state.

On April 16 and 17, we expect good rain and thundershowers over many parts of Madhya Pradesh. During that time, few moderate spells of rain will be accompanied with isolated hailstorm and strong winds.

These weather activities may cause some harm to the crops which are being harvested in Madhya Pradesh, as strong winds and hailstorm are always known for damaging crops.

Further, from April 18, rains will start vacating most parts of the state and weather will almost dry in western and central parts of Madhya Pradesh. But still few isolated pockets in East Madhya Pradesh may witness light rainfall activity.

Gujarat to witness Pre-Monsoon rains, relief likely from hot weather

Gujarat Rains 1

At present a trough is extending from West Madhya Pradesh to Karnataka across eastern parts of Gujarat. Therefore, today we expect isolated thunderstorm activity or light rain over few eastern districts of the state.

However, on April 15 and 16, we expect the intensity and spread of weather activities to increase over parts of Gujarat. Thus, Gujarat region will receive scattered rains, whereas Saurashtra & Kutch will observe isolated rain and thundershower activities.

This will also be the first good spell of rain during the Pre-Monsoon season over Gujarat, as the state has been witnessing dry and hot weather conditions since the last many days. In fact, few pockets have been reeling under heat wave condition with maximum temperatures above 40˚C.

Now in the wake of these rains, the above normal temperatures over Gujarat will subside by 2˚C to 3˚C and may come below 40˚C, leading to relief from the ongoing hot weather conditions. Moreover, heat wave condition may also abate from few pockets of the state.

Thus, we can say that Pre-Monsoon weather activities have commenced over Gujarat. Now on and off thunderstorm and thundershowers will keep on occurring over parts of the state thereafter also. This was also the first good spell of Pre-Monsoon activities over the state.
