Astonished drivers saw the plane descending down and catching fire just seconds later. According to locals new report by KOMO News, the plane had taken off from a nearby air field when it rammed into the power lines, bursting into a fireball and crashing onto the ground.
Unbelievably, both the pilot as well as passenger survived the incident with no major injuries, which can be termed as close encounter with death.
Within few minutes of the plane crash, a thick cloud of smoke was seen rising into the sky. The plane, which had turned into a fireball had also damaged several cars on the road but fortunately no one was hurt.
With the crash happening very close to the road, frightened passengers started turning around the cars to avoid the crash site.
According to local authorities, the one-engine plane lost power just after take-off. The pilot was looking to for an empty spot for making emergency landing when the plane touched a power line, which broke its fuel tank and ignited the plane.
