Beginning with Central India, at present, a Cyclonic Circulation is over Northeast Arabian Sea off South Gujarat coast. A Trough from this system is extending up to North Bay of Bengal. Thus, rains are expected to increase over South Gujarat. Moderate rains with one or two heavy spells will continue over East and North Madhya Pradesh as well as North Chhattisgarh. Scattered light to moderate rains are possible over South Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, West Madhya Pradesh and Southeast Rajasthan. On the other hand, Monsoon will remain Subdued over Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada. However, a few light spells are possible over here.
Mumbai city might receive patchy light rains, but one or two intense spells cannot be ruled out. Coming on to East and Northeast India, Here an East-West Trough is passing through Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and West Bengal. This will bring moderate rains with one or two heavy spells over Bihar, Jharkhand and parts of West Bengal. Also, scattered light to moderate rains are likely over East Uttar Pradesh. Scattered light rains with one or two moderate spells are possible over entire Northeast India.

Talking about South India, where the rain activities will now reduce over Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Rayalaseema. Scattered light to moderate rains are possible in these states. However, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana may receive light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells. Chennai and Bengaluru will get light rains. Moderate rain are a possibility over Kolkata and Hyderabad.
Lastly in North India, where humid easterly winds are blowing over most parts. Thus, West Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh will get scattered rains and thundershowers. Isolated rains are possible over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Jammu and Kashmir. On the other hand, weather in North Rajasthan will remain dry. Moderate to heavy rains are forecast for Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Varanasi, Gaya, and Patna. National Capital Delhi might also get some patchy rains.
