Starting with East and Northeast India, due to the prevalence of good flow of southeasterly winds carrying ample moisture, as well the as the presence of a Cyclonic Circulation over the central parts of Assam, the states of Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, and Northeast states will experience light to moderate rains and thundershowers at many places. Also, some places over East Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Lower Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Coastal Odisha might see with heavy showers. Kolkata will remain warm and humid along with chances of moderate rainy spells.
Coming on to North India, a feeble Western Disturbance lies over northern parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Due to this, light rains and thundershowers will occur at one or two places over J and K, Himachal Pradesh and northern parts of Punjab. However, due to the lack of moisture, rest parts of Punjab, Haryana, West Rajasthan, and West Uttar Pradesh will remain mostly dry. National capital Delhi will also remain dry and warm along with a partly cloudy sky.

Coming on to Central India, here an upper air Trough is extending from Andhra Pradesh to Madhya Pradesh. Due to the presence of this Trough, moist south-easterly air mass is prevailing over Central parts of the country. Hence, light to moderate rains and thundershowers are likely over Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and eastern parts of Gujarat. Also, one or two places might also receive heavy showers. Mumbai will remain mainly dry and warm weather along with a cloudy sky. However, chances of short spell of light rains cannot be completely ruled out over here.
Lastly in South India, a Cyclonic Circulation lies off coastal Andhra Pradesh. Due to this, North Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema and South Interior Karnataka might receive light to moderate rains and thundershowers. One or two places might also receive heavy showers. Due to the presence of the same system, rest parts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala might also experience some rains, while heavy rains are likely in South Kerala. Meanwhile, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru will remain warm and humid along with chances of spells of rains.
