We will start with the eastern part of the country wherein a Cyclonic Circulation is over Jharkhand and adjoining Bihar and a Trough is extending up to Northeast India across West Bengal. Therefore, light to moderate rainfall can be seen over many parts of Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim along with Northeast India. While light rain with one or two moderate spells may occur over Jharkhand and Odisha. Kolkata may see light rain while Patna and Gaya may receive moderate showers.
The rain activities over East Uttar Pradesh will subside now but isolated light rains can be seen over Prayagraj and Varanasi. Down in South, a north-south Trough is seen extending from Rayalaseema to Interior Tamil Nadu across South Interior Karnataka, therefore we expect light to moderate rain over Andhra Pradesh, South Interior Karnataka and parts of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Isolated rain can also be seen over Telangana and North Interior Karnataka. Bengaluru and Hyderabad may see light rain with one or two moderate spells with mainly dry weather over Chennai.

Heading to North India, wherein a Cyclonic Circulation is over Central Pakistan and adjoining Rajasthan, therefore scattered and patchy light to moderate rain can be seen over West Rajasthan and parts of North Rajasthan. Places like Jaisalmer, Churu, Sri Ganganagar, Bikaner may see rainfall. A Western Disturbance is travelling across Jammu and Kashmir, thus scattered light rain can be seen over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The northwestern plains will be nearly dry but isolated localised rain activities cannot be ruled out from parts of Punjab, Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh.
Finally, in Central India, there is no significant weather system persisting. Thus, isolated light rain is possible over Madhya Pradesh and scattered light rain with one or two moderate spells can be seen over South Chhattisgarh, parts of Marathwada and Madhya Maharashtra. Isolated light rain can also be seen over South Gujarat and Southeast Rajasthan.
Mumbai, Akola and Nagpur along with Bhopal and Indore will be dry with light rain in Pune.
