Yesterday’s Low-Pressure Area now lies over Southwest Bihar and adjoining states. The system is tilting southwestward with height. A Cyclonic Circulation lies over East Assam and a Trough is extending from North Uttar Pradesh to Arunachal Pradesh across Low-Pressure Area, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal.
Thus, light to moderate rain is likely over many places of East Uttar Pradesh, many parts of Bihar, North Jharkhand, Central Bengal and many parts of northeast states. Light scattered rains can be seen over rest parts of Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. While Odisha may see light to moderate rain over southern parts with mainly light over the northern districts. Kolkata will see scattered light rains while moderate spells are possible over Patna, Gaya, Varanasi, Muzaffarpur, and Daltonganj.
Moving to South, wherein a Cyclonic Circulation still persists over North Tamil Nadu and adjoining South Karnataka and a Trough from Low-Pressure Area is extending up to Coastal Andhra Pradesh in upper air.
Scattered light to moderate rain is likely over Karnataka, Kerala and adjoining North Tamil Nadu with heavy spells in pockets and such spells can also be seen over North Telangana and adjoining Andhra Pradesh. Scattered mainly light rain will continue over rest parts of southern Peninsula.
Talking about cities wherein Bengaluru will see moderate rain with light to moderate spells over Hyderabad and light over Chennai.

In the central parts of the country, in wake of an upper-air trough which is moving across Chhattisgarh, light to moderate rainfall activity is likely over some parts of Chhattisgarh and adjoining Madhya Pradesh. Light to isolated moderate spell is also possible over extreme southern parts of Maharashtra. Mumbai to see dry and mainly warm weather.
While scattered light rain can be seen over rest Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and isolated pockets of eastern coast of Gujarat. Due to the westerlies, dry weather is expected over Kutch, Saurashtra in the coming days and dryness is likely to increase as the winds are likely to be northwest/north over Gujarat.
Up in the North, a fresh Western Disturbance is likely to be seen over North Pakistan and adjoining areas as an upper-air system. Scattered light rain is expected over the western parts of Jammu and Kashmir with isolated spells to be seen over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
The Cyclonic Circulation is likely to form over central Pakistan and adjoining Rajasthan. This system in association with the Western Disturbance may cause light to moderate rain and thundershowers over the northern parts of Rajasthan, many parts of Punjab, west Haryana. Isolated light rain is likely over central parts of Rajasthan and southwest and northwest Uttar Pradesh.
Delhi will see a rise in temperature, with pleasant morning and patchy rain is likely.
