A Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over Lakshadweep Area while another Cyclonic Circulation is over Southcentral Bay of Bengal. Thus, moderate to heavy rains are expected to occur over Kerala, Coastal Karnataka and parts of North Interior Karnataka. Now, rains will decrease over Tamil Nadu and Rayalaseema but light to moderate rains will continue over here as well. Telangana and coastal Andhra Pradesh will also receive light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells. There will be significant increase in rain activities over Lakshadweep Islands and heavy to very heavy rains are possible here. Chennai is forecast to receive light rains. Moderate rains are possible over Bengaluru and Hyderabad. While heavy rains are likely over Kochi and Mangalore.
Talking about Central India, here rain activities will now increase over Maharashtra. Light to moderate rains with isolated heavy spells are expected over here. The city of Mumbai may also receive short spells of rain while moderate rains may lash Pune. Chhattisgarh and parts of Southeast Madhya Pradesh will get moderate rains. Light rain are expected over South Gujarat. Whereas rest parts of Gujarat, West Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan will remain dry.

Coming on to Northwest India, where a fresh Western Disturbance has formed over Jammu and Kashmir. Its induced Cyclonic Circulation is over Central Pakistan. Thus, light to moderate rains are possible over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and parts of Punjab. The upper reaches of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir may receive snowfall as well. Isolated light rains are possible over North Haryana and Uttarakhand. Delhi pollution will remain in ‘poor to very poor’ category.
Lastly in East and Northeast India, rain activities will increase further over Odisha. Moderate spells of rain with one or two heavy spells are possible over here. Scattered rains are likely over Jharkhand as well as Gangetic West Bengal. Isolated light rains might be seen over Southern districts of Bihar. Whereas Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim will remain almost dry. Rest places over Northeast India as well as Kolkata, Ranchi and Jamshedpur might receive light rains.
