The Southwest Monsoon has withdrawn from the entire country and simultaneously Northeast Monsoon rains have commenced over Tamil Nadu and adjoining areas of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala.
A Cyclonic Circulation is over Southeast Arabian Sea, thus light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells are expected over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. While scattered light to moderate rains will be a sight over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Rayalaseema with light rain likely over North Interior Karnataka. Lakshadweep may see moderate to heavy showers.
Moving to the central India, wherein due to a Cyclonic Circulation over Arabian Sea we expect light rains to commence over South Konkan and Goa and South Madhya Maharashtra. Places like Sindhudurg, Sangli, Satara and Ratnagiri may see such showers.Scattered light rain with one or two moderate spells may occur over South Chhattisgarh. Weather of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat will be dry due to an anti-cyclone over Southwest Rajasthan.

In the eastern parts of our country, easterly winds from the Bay of Bengal will blow over Odisha. Therefore, scattered rains are possible over Odisha and isolated spells will be seen over Gangetic West Bengal and South Jharkhand. Weather of East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar will be dry.
Rain activities will further reduce over Northeast India but light rains in wake of localized weather conditions will continue.Up in the North, a fresh Western Disturbance is over North Jammu and Kashmir and its induced Cyclonic circulation is over Central Pakistan. Thus, we expect scattered rains to commence over Jammu and Kashmir with chances of snowfall over the upper reaches. Light rainfall may occur over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Isolated light rain or thunderstorm may be a sight over Gurdaspur and Amritsar. Weather of rest Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan will be dry. Delhi pollution may remain in poor to very poor category.
