The withdrawal line of Southwest Monsoon now passes through Latitude 21.5°N/Longitude 95.0°E, Latitude 21.5°N/Longitude 92.0°E, Diamond Harbour, Bangriposhi (Odisha), Sundargarh, Dhamtari, Ramagundam, Nanded, Alibagh, Latitude 18.0°N/Longitude 70°E, Latitude 18.0°N/Longitude 65°E and Latitude 18.0°N/Longitude 60°E.
Let us start with the southern parts of the country wherein a Trough is extending from South Odisha to North Tamil Nadu coast. The humid easterlies from the Bay of Bengal are increasing moisture over the Southern Peninsula. Therefore, we expect light to moderate rains with one or two intense spells over Andhra Pradesh, South Interior Karnataka, Interior Tamil Nadu and parts of Kerala.
While light rain with one or two moderate spells are possible over Telangana, Coastal Karnataka and Coastal Tamil Nadu. Bengaluru, Chennai may witness light rains with patchy thundershowers over Hyderabad.

Moving to the eastern and the northeastern parts of our country wherein scattered light to moderate rains will continue over Odisha, Weather of East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand will be almost dry. While isolated light rains are possible over West Bengal. Due to a Cyclonic Circulation over South Assam, rains will once again increase over Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. Whereas isolated light rains are possible over the rest of northeast India.
Meanwhile in Central India, South Chhattisgarh, parts of South Madhya Maharashtra and South Konkan and Goa may receive light to moderate rain at few places whereas North Chhattisgarh, rest Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat will remain dry, warm and sunny.
Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Ahmedabad will be dry and warm.Up in the North, an Anti-Cyclone is over West Rajasthan and dry winds will continue over the Northwest Plains, therefore we do not expect any weather activity over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan. However light rain may occur over the hills of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. The weather of Uttarakhand will be dry. While the Air Quality Index over Delhi and NCR is likely to dip further with pollution hovering in poor to very poor category.
