Starting with Central India, a Low-Pressure Area is over Southeast Rajasthan and adjoining West Madhya Pradesh. Thus, we expect moderate to heavy rains over southeast Rajasthan and West Madhya Pradesh. Moderate rainfall can be seen over East and Northeast Madhya Pradesh and rain intensity is expected to decrease over Gujarat but light rain with few moderate spells can still be seen. Chhattisgarh and parts of Vidarbha, Konkan and Goa, may also get scattered light to moderate rains.
Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra and Kutch region to see subdued Monsoon activities. Mumbai city may see light rain activities.In the eastern parts of the country, a Cyclonic Circulation is over Bangladesh and a Trough is extending from East Uttar Pradesh up till this Circulation across Bihar, Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal. Therefore, light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells can be seen over West Bengal, parts of Odisha and Jharkhand as well as over parts of Assam and Tripura. Rain over East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar will reduce however light rain with one or two moderate spells may continue over eastern parts of Bihar.

Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Kolkata may receive moderate showers, while Patna, Gaya may see light rain activities. Down South, a Trough is extending from southeast Bengal to Comorin area. Thus, light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells is expected over South Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Scattered rains are possible over Rayalaseema, Telangana and isolated pockets of North Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Rain will be light over Karnataka.
Hyderabad, and Kochi may receive moderate rain with isolated light spells over Bengaluru and Chennai will be almost dry during this time.Finally, in the North, scattered light to moderate rains are possible over Uttarakhand whereas parts of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, West Uttar Pradesh and Delhi-NCR will see isolated rain. Most parts of Rajasthan are expected to witness dry weather conditions however isolated patchy rain cannot be ruled out over East Rajasthan.
