Very Severe Cyclone Maha is over east-central and adjoining west-central Arabian Sea. It will now move towards Gujarat coast. It may then weaken further. We expect isolated light rains over Gujarat. The sea conditions will be rough over Gujarat coast. Light to moderate rains are possible over South Konkan and South Madhya Maharashtra. Weather of Madhya Pradesh, most parts of Rajasthan and rest Maharashtra will be dry.
In southern peninsula, dry north easterlies are meeting the humid easterlies from the Bay of Bengal at mid-levels. Therefore, light to moderate rain and thundershowers are expected over Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka and Kerala with isolated spells to be seen over South Interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu and Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Yet another Cyclone is in the pipeline and this one will be named Cyclone Bulbul which will rise in the Bay of Bengal. A Low-Pressure Area has developed over the North Andaman and Sea. It is expected to move in west-northwestward and intensify into a Depression over east-central Bay of Bengal around November 5 or 6.

Up in the North, a fresh Western Disturbance is seen over North Pakistan and adjoining areas. Thus, scattered rains can be seen over Jammu and Kashmir and isolated over Himachal Pradesh. Light snowfall is also possible over the upper reaches of Jammu and Kashmir. The weather of Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, North Rajasthan, Delhi NCR along with West Uttar Pradesh will be dry. Pollution relief is likely over Delhi and NCR in wake of moderate north westerlies.
Meanwhile in East and Northeast India, a Cyclonic Circulation is over Bangladesh. Thus, light rain is expected at few places of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland. The weather of East India will be almost dry.
