Weather Forecast Nov 4: Heavy rain in Andaman, Maha to batter Gujarat, Maharashtra

The Very Severe Cyclone Maha, which might soon recurve Eastwards towards Gujarat coast. Due to the prevalence of this system, rains are possible over entire Central India. While, light rain and thundershowers are likely at isolated places over South Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, South Madhya Maharashtra and Vidarbha. Mumbai might also see some light rains. Although, North Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will remain dry and warm.

Talking about North India, a feeble Western Disturbance is moving across eastern parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Due to the presence of this system, light rain is expected over higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Now the pollution is likely to ease down a bit in Delhi as moderate northerly winds take over. Sky will remain partly cloudy in the city.

Down South, another system in the form of a Cyclonic Circulation has formed over North Andaman Sea. This might soon be intensify into a Low Pressure Area. Due to this, moderate to heavy rains are likely over Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Also, the Very Severe Cyclone Maha in east-central Arabian Sea, will bring light to moderate rains and thundershowers over, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Chennai will remain dry whereas Bengaluru and Hyderabad will see light rains.

Lastly in East and Northeast India, the Cyclonic Circulation lies over Bangladesh and adjoining Assam. Due to this, Northeast states will experience light rains at isolated places. However, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha are expected to remain mostly dry. Kolkata will also see similar weather along with a cloudy sky.
