A fresh Western Disturbance is approaching Jammu and Kashmir. Therefore, we expect scattered light rain and thundershowers to commence over Jammu and Kashmir by the evening of November 20. The sky of Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand may become partly cloudy to cloudy, but the weather will remain dry. Dry north westerlies will continue to blow over the northern plains but due to the approach of Western Disturbance the wind speed will decrease leading to further increase in pollution levels over Delhi and NCR. Moderate fog is very likely in isolated pockets over Punjab, Haryana.

Meanwhile, in southern India, a trough is extending from Sri Lanka to south coastal Andhra Pradesh. Another offshore trough is extending from south coastal Karnataka to Kerala. Therefore, light to moderate rain activities will continue over south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Scattered light rains are possible over South Karnataka. On the other hand, no weather activity is expected over North Interior Karnataka, Telangana and North coast of Andhra Pradesh. The weather over Andaman and Nicobar along with Lakshadweep will be almost dry.
