Severe Cyclone has intensified into a very Severe Cyclone Maha and is over eastcentral Arabian Sea which is moving in Northwest direction. Due to its impact scattered light to moderate rains are possible in Gujarat. Porbandar, Veraval, Amreli and Rajkot are likely to witness good showers. Not only this, strong winds 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph is a possibility. Also, the fishermen are strictly advised not to venture out into the sea. Sea conditions over Gujarat and Maharashtra coast will be rough to very rough.
Along with this, South and West Madhya Pradesh will see scattered rain and thundershowers. Places like Ujjain, Ratlam, Indore and Dhar will be affected. Many parts of Maharashtra, South Rajasthan along with South Chhattisgarh may witness some rain and thundershower activities. Amidst this Mumbai may see isolated light rain with cloudy sky.
Down South, the rain activities will now slowdown. However scattered light rain with one or two moderate spells is possible over parts of Telangana, Interior Karnataka and Interior Tamil Nadu along with parts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Kerala and Coastal Karnataka may see isolated light rains. Thus, we can say that Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai may witness light patchy rains only.

In the north and northwestern parts of our country, the fresh Western Disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir and its induced Cyclonic Circulation is over West Rajasthan. Thus, scattered rains over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh can be a sight. Along with this, the upper reaches of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal can even witness some snowfall activity.Whereas, isolated rains over Uttarakhand, and Punjab will be seen, and scattered showers will be seen over rest Rajasthan.
Weather of Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh will be dry. The pollution in Delhi has choked the people of the capital. The Air Quality Index will be seen in the bracket of severe to very severe category.
Lastly in East India, a Cyclonic Circulation is over Bangladesh, but we do not expect much weather activities over Northeast India and only isolated light rains are likely to be seen.
The weather of East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha will remain dry.
