the Western Disturbance is moving away across eastern parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Another fresh Western Disturbance lies over North Pakistan. Therefore, we expect rain and thundershowers over few places of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Northwesterly winds will start blowing over the northwestern plains and temperatures will rise over the region. Dust storm may occur over few parts of West Rajasthan.
In east/northeast India, a cyclonic circulation is seen over Northeast Bihar. A trough is extending from this system up to North Coastal Odisha across West Bengal. Isolated thunderstorm activity may occur over Coastal West Bengal and North Coastal Odisha. Temperatures will rise further over Bihar, Jharkhand and Interior Odisha. A cyclonic circulation persists over East Assam. Therefore, we expect rain and thundershowers with isolated heavy spells and strong winds to continue over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Meghalaya, West Assam and Tripura.
A trough is running from South Chhattisgarh to South India. But, due to westerly winds, mostly dry weather will prevail over Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra and West Madhya Pradesh. Rest parts of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will also remain dry and hot. Mumbai will witness warm and humid afternoon.

Down South, a cyclonic circulation persists over South Karnataka and a trough is extending from Telangana to Tamil Nadu across Rayalaseema and adjoining Kerala. Rain and thundershowers will occur over Kerala, South Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema and Andhra Pradesh Coast. A cyclonic circulation has developed over Southwest Bay of Bengal close to Tamil Nadu Coast. Conditions are becoming favorable for Southwest Monsoon to reach South Andaman Sea.
