A fresh Western Disturbance is present over Jammu and Kashmir and its induced Cyclonic Circulation can be seen over North Rajasthan and adjoining Haryana. A trough is extending up to West Uttar Pradesh from this system. We expect rain and thundershower activities to now increase over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Snowfall is also possible over the upper reaches. However, Rain and thundershower activities over Northern plains will now decrease but isolated pre-monsoon activities may continue over Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. Rains are possible at few places over West Uttar Pradesh. Delhi NCR may also receive some very light rains.
Coming on to Central India, here southwesterly winds from Arabian sea are blowing across Gujarat, South Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh and parts of Maharashtra. Therefore, we do not expect temperatures to increase over these rains as of now and the weather will remain mainly dry. However, isolated light rain might be witnessed over Southern districts of Chhattisgarh. Heat wave conditions will persist at a few places over Vidarbha.
Talking about East and Northeast India, a Cyclonic Circulation is over eastern parts of Assam. A trough is extending from Sub-Himalayan West Bengal to interior Tamil Nadu across West Bengal and Odisha. Due to this, we expect fairly widespread rain and thundershower to continue over Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh and at a few places over Nagaland, Manipur and Tripura. Light rains may occur at one or two places over Odisha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.

Lastly in South India, due to the trough extending across Telangana, interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, we expect scattered rain and thundershower to continue over Kerala, Interior Tamil Nadu and South Interior Karnataka. Isolated thundershower may occur over coastal Andhra Pradesh. As the conditions for onset of Monsoon over Andaman and Nicobar are becoming favorable, therefore, rain intensity will increase over Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
