A fresh Western Disturbance lies over North Afghanistan and adjoining Pakistan. But remnants of the eastward moving Western Disturbance will give light rain and thundershowers over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Due to an induced cyclonic circulation over Central Pakistan and adjoining Punjab, few parts of Punjab, Haryana and North Rajasthan will witness dust storm and thundershower activities. Isolated dust storm and thunderstorm may also occur over Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
Similarly, in Central India, dust storm and rains may occur over South Rajasthan and parts of Madhya Pradesh, due to the prevalence of humid winds from Arabian Sea. Weather will remain dry and hot in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh. Heat wave will persist in isolated parts of Vidarbha and South Chhattisgarh.
Heading to East and Northeast India, a cyclonic circulation is over Bihar and a trough is extending from this system to South India. Another cyclonic circulation is also seen over Arunachal Pradesh, Thus, moderate to heavy rains will continue in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh. Meanwhile, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, East Bihar, parts of Jharkhand and Odisha will witness light rains.

Lastly in South India, due to the trough extending across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and South Interior Karnataka, scattered rain and thundershowers are expected over Kerala, interior parts of Tamil Nadu and South Interior Karnataka. Isolated rains will occur over Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema.
