Weather Forecast March 11: Rain in Kashmir, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Kerala and Coastal Karnataka

The Western Disturbance lies over North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir. Its induced cyclonic circulation is seen over Northwest Rajasthan and adjoining Punjab. A trough is extending from this circulation towards eastern parts of the county. Another feeble cyclonic circulation also lies over Northeast Rajasthan. Therefore, light to moderate rain and snow with few heavy spells will occur over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Meanwhile, parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan will witness rain and thundershowers with strong winds.

Seasonal dry weather will prevail over central parts of India. In fact, South Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha will remain warm. Meanwhile, during night, pleasant weather will prevail over northern parts of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

Moving to East/Northeast India, a feeble cyclonic circulation lies over Jharkhand. Due to this, isolated places in Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha will witness rains. But Bihar and Jharkhand will continue with dry weather. Due to the cyclonic circulation over Upper Assam, parts of Northeast India may observe rain and thundershowers.

Lastly in South India, a cyclonic circulation lies over North Interior Karnataka. An upper air trough is extending from this circulation to Kerala. This system will give light rains over North Telangana. Along with this, Kerala and Coastal Karnataka will also receive light to moderate rains in some parts.
