Beginning with Mumbai Monsoon, a trough is extending from South Gujarat to North Karnataka Coast. Therefore, we expect moderate Monsoon rains with heavy spells to occur over Konkan and Goa including Mumbai. Southeast Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, South Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada will too witness light to moderate Monsoon rains.
Down South, Monsoon rains will now become subdued over South Interior Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Rayalaseema. However, scattered rains are possible over parts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Meanwhile, Few moderate spells will occur over Andaman and Nicobar Islands and North Interior Karnataka.

In East/Northeast India, an east-west trough is extending from foothills of Bihar to Nagaland across Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Assam. Light to moderate Monsoon rains with few heavy spells are possible over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Assam. Scattered rains will continue over rest northeastern states. Intensity of rains may increase over Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal including Kolkata. Meanwhile, Monsoon will remain subdued in Jharkhand, Bihar and East Uttar Pradesh.
At last North India, In the wake of dry northwesterly winds, weather in entire North India including the hills and plains is likely to remain dry. But due to a cyclonic circulation present over Central Pakistan, isolated rains may occur over Jammu and Kashmir.
