Beginning with East and Northeast India, an East-West Trough is extending across Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal and a Cyclonic Circulation is over Northeast India. Therefore, heavy to very heavy rains are expected over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim along with parts of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
While light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells will be seen over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, parts of Jharkhand and rest Northeast India. Light to moderate rains will be seen over the southern districts of Jharkhand with scattered light rains over Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal.
In Central India, the low-pressure area is now seen as a Cyclonic Circulation over North Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas. An off-shore Trough is running from South Gujarat to North Coastal Karnataka. Thus, we expect moderate rains with few heavy spells over Konkan and Goa including Mumbai.
Light to moderate rains is possible over the South Gujarat region, North Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh. Whereas, moderate to heavy rains would continue over Northern and Northeastern parts of Madhya Pradesh like Gwalior, Guna, Sidhi, Satna, and Rewa. However, rain activity to decrease over southern parts of Madhya Pradesh.

Up in the North, a Western Disturbance is over North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir. Its induced Cyclonic Circulation is over Central Pakistan and adjoining Punjab. A Trough from this circulation is extending up to Northeast India across Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh. Hence, light to moderate with few heavy spells will be seen over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and many parts of West Uttar Pradesh.
Scattered rains are possible over parts of Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan and isolated showers are likely over Delhi and NCR.
Down South, light to moderate rains with isolated heavy spells will be seen over Coastal Karnataka with scattered light rains over Kerala. Whereas Subdued Monsoon activities will be seen over Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu as well as most parts of Telangana.
Also, light rain with one or two moderate spells are possible over Coastal Andhra Pradesh as well as the northern districts of Telangana like Nizamabad, Medak, and nearby areas.
