Beginning with Central India, a Low-Pressure Area is over South-central Uttar Pradesh. Due to its influence we expect moderate to heavy showers to occur over many parts of Madhya Pradesh. But the intensity will be more over northern districts such as Shivpuri, Guna, Sagar, Damoh, Rajgarh and Gwalior. Scattered light to moderate rains with isolated heavy spells may occur over South Rajasthan, parts of Chhattisgarh and Konkan and Goa. Scattered rains are likely over the rest of Maharashtra.
Coming onto East and Northeast India, here a Cyclonic Circulation is over Assam and adjoining areas. Also, a Trough is extending from Punjab to Bay of Bengal across Jharkhand and North Odisha. We expect the rain intensity to increase over Northeast states now. A few heavy spells are also possible over Northeast India, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. Moderate showers are possible at a few places over East Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha. East Uttar Pradesh may also receive light to moderate rains.

Moderate rains with one or two heavy spells are possible over Uttarakhand and adjoining parts of West Uttar Pradesh. These rains might even lead to landslides and mudslide over the Uttarakhand region. Scattered rains are possible over Himachal Pradesh. Isolated thundershowers may occur over Jammu and Kashmir, parts of Punjab, Haryana and Delhi. East Rajasthan might also see some isolated rains.
Lastly in South India, an off-shore Trough is running from Konkan and Goa to North Kerala coast. Thus, good rains will continue over coastal Karnataka. Scattered rains are possible over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and parts of Telangana, Andaman-Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands. Light rains are possible over Interior Karnataka. Weather of Tamil Nadu and Rayalaseema however, will remain dry.
