The Southwest Monsoon has now advanced over more parts of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Now, the NLM is passing through the cities of Dwarka, Deesa, Udaipur, Kota, Gwalior, Shahjahanpur, Najibabad, and Mandi.
Presently, a Low-Pressure Area is over North Madhya Pradesh and a trough is extending from this system up to North Bay of Bengal across Jharkhand and West Bengal. Thus, moderate to heavy rains will be a sight in the western parts of Madhya Pradesh. While light to moderate rains with isolated heavy spells will be seen in Southeast Rajasthan, Gujarat region, Konkan and Goa. Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri will continue to witness moderate rains with isolated heavy spells. Scattered light to moderate rains is expected over Central parts of Gujarat, rest parts of Maharashtra, East Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
Up in the North, the winds are blowing from the East over the national capital Delhi. Thus, isolated rain and thundershowers are a possibility in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and NCR and Rajasthan. Scattered rains will be seen over West Uttar Pradesh. Good rains stand a chance in Uttarakhand whereas Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh may see just light rainfall activities.

The humid winds from the Bay of Bengal are blowing across Northeast India. Therefore, light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells are expected over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh. Scattered rains can be seen over rest of Northeast India, Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha. While East Uttar Pradesh and Gangetic West Bengal might record isolated rains.
Finally, Down South, light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells are expected over Coastal Karnataka with scattered light to moderate rains over Kerala. Our experts foresee the intensity of rain increasing in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Light to moderate spells are possible over North Interior Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Rains will be scanty over South Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu.
